Auschwitz-Birkenau became the killing center where the largest numbers of Jews were killed during the Holocaust. Auschwitz-Birkenau, Nazi Germany's largest concentration and extermination camp was located near the Polish town of Oshwiecim. Professors injected chemical substances into the stomach of the women, during their experiments. The women were sterilized by the injections that produced horrible pain, bruising in the stomach, and bleeding. Auschwitz, (Nazi death camp).
During WWII only one
man managed to get prisoners out of Auschwitz- Oscar Schindler. Schindler was very smart and outwitted Hitler. A
Schindler survivor, Anna Duklauer Perl, later recalled:"I knew something
had gone terribly wrong .. they cut our hair real short and sent us to the
shower. Our only hope was Schindler would find us .."- ( Auschwitz, Nazi death camp).
